CPSR Collaborative Catalyst Grants and Trainee Awards competitions announced

COLLABORATIVE CATALYST GRANTS

 

The objective of the collaborative catalyst grants is to provide “seed” funding to encourage collaborative research in the CPSR that explores novel and exploratory approaches for stroke recovery that has the potential to have a positive impact on clinical practice, now or in the future. The maximum amount that may be requested per catalyst grant (including multi-site projects) is $50,000 over the 18-month period (July 2015 – December 2016).

The deadline to register intent to submit a catalyst grant has been extended to Feb 20, 2015, at 5 p.m. ET.

 

The deadline to submit full application is March 20, 2015.

 

 

2015 CPSR TRAINEE AWARD COMPETITION

 

The objective of the Trainee Awards is to cross-train new researchers in translational approaches to rehabilitation and recovery and to help provide recognition and funding to trainees early in their academic research careers. Matching funding will be available for graduate students (up to $12,500) or post-doctoral fellows (up to $25,000), with equal matching funding provided by the supervisor (or their institution) for one year to support stroke recovery research activities (July 2015 – August 2016).
