Meet our researchers

We are beginning a new series of researcher profiles today! Learn about our researchers and the work they are doing to restore lives after stroke. We begin with Dr. Lara Boyd, who runs the Brain Behaviour Research Lab at the University of British Columbia. She is studying small injuries in the brain to understand why people with similar strokes experience completely different recoveries. And, why some people respond well to rehabilitation therapy, while others do not. The goal is to customize treatment for each individual patient. Read more here:
