'Combination approach' to rehab therapy improves cognition for people with stroke

March 18, 2019 The first clinical trial testing a novel pairing of aerobic exercise and cognitive training showed that chronic stroke patients who received the combination approach made large gains in cognitive recovery.

Stroke Congress website chock-full of information

March 15, 2019 Abstract submission for the Canadian Stroke Congress, co-chaired by Drs Sean Dukelow and Frank Silver, opened on March 4 for what promises to be the biggest and best meeting yet. The Congress takes place in Ottawa during the peak of fall colours from Oct. 3 to 5 at the Shaw Centre.
